Glow Check-in
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Glow Check-in helps you track face glow progress using optional face photos, appearance scores, coaching tips, and routines. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account identifiers and contact information, including your display name, email address, and internal user ID.
- Account and security data needed to authenticate you and maintain your session.
- Face photos you choose to upload for a glow scan.
- Information derived from those photos, including visible facial measurements or features, appearance scores, coaching tips, and scan history. Because this information is derived from a face photo, we treat it as sensitive information.
- Onboarding answers, goals, and other preferences you save.
- Routine activity, including routines you select and completion history.
- Product usage analytics, including app screens visited and whether key steps completed (for example onboarding finished, face analysis completed, or subscription activated). We identify product-analytics events with an internal user id only — not your email or name.
- Advertising and attribution data when you install or use the app after seeing our ads (for example on TikTok). We use AppsFlyer and similar measurement partners, and may use the device advertising identifier if you allow tracking, so we can measure ad performance and optimize campaigns. You can control tracking permission in iOS Settings.
Apple processes App Store purchases and billing through StoreKit. The app may check your subscription entitlement on your device to unlock features, but we do not collect or retain your Apple purchase history or payment card details.
How we use it
- Run photo-quality checks and glow analysis and show your history.
- Generate routines, coaching, and progress trends.
- Operate and secure your account and respond to support requests.
- Measure product funnels and reliability (for example where users drop off in onboarding or before a first face analysis) so we can improve Glow Check-in.
- Measure and improve advertising performance (including which ads led to installs or subscriptions) via measurement partners such as AppsFlyer, which may share conversion signals with ad platforms like TikTok.
AI-assisted photo processing
When you choose to run a glow scan, the selected photo is securely uploaded to Glow Check-in and shared with a contracted external AI processing provider so it can return information used to generate your report. We do not use this processing for advertising, to identify or authenticate you, or to make medical decisions.
Under our current service arrangement, the AI processor handles the request in real time and does not retain the submitted photo or use it to train or improve its models. Glow Check-in may retain the uploaded photo and resulting report as described below so you can use scan history and other app features.
Storage and sharing
Account data, uploaded photos, and scan results are stored on our servers and service-provider infrastructure used to operate the product, such as hosting and object storage. Our contracted providers, including the AI processor described above, may process this data only to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal data, use face photos or scan results for advertising or unrelated analytics, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Some providers may process data outside your country, including in Singapore. Where required, we use contractual and other safeguards for international transfers. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
Retention and deletion
We retain your account data and content while your account is active and as needed to provide Glow Check-in. When you delete your account in the app, we delete the account record and associated active sessions, uploaded photos, scan results and history, onboarding preferences, and routine completion data from our active systems. Limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups or security logs until their normal deletion cycle, or longer when retention is required by law.
Diagnostics
We collect limited crash, performance, and technical diagnostic data to keep Glow Check-in reliable and secure. This data may be linked to an internal account identifier when needed to investigate a problem. It is not used for advertising or cross-company tracking.
Your choices
You control when photos are captured or imported. You can sign out or delete your account from Profile. You may also contact us with a privacy or deletion question using the address below.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your personal data; to object to certain processing; to withdraw consent for future processing; and to complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to exceptions under applicable law. Contact us to exercise them. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal, but it may prevent future glow scans.
Facial analysis
Glow Check-in uses uploaded face photos to provide appearance-related scores and suggestions. The analysis is automated and subjective. It does not use your face to identify or authenticate you, and it does not provide a medical diagnosis.
Age
Glow Check-in is for users 18 years of age or older.
